Beautiful Beyond Dreams, LLC had the luxury of finding two awesome ladies who are eager to learn what is needed to advance in this fast-paced amazing industry of Weddings & Events! Yesterday you met the sweet Kelsi Rivers-Jones and today I want to introduce you to Aimee Boyd! 

Meet Aimee Boyd!

 

Hi, my name is Aimee Boyd, I am 23 years old, and I am from Trappe, PA.  I graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Penn State University.  I am an outgoing, personable, high energy individual following my dream to become part of the wedding and event planning industry.  While pursuing my dream, I have a full time job in which I utilize my communication, organizational and planning skills on a daily basis.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, movies, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. 

After attending numerous weddings, planning family events, and assisting in the set-up of events and weddings, I have set my sights on becoming a wedding and event planner.  Having set my sights in this industry, I am thoroughly grateful and excited for the opportunity to be an intern at Beautiful Beyond Dreams LLC.  I think this internship will be a great experience and provide me with further insight to pursue a career in the wedding and event planning industry.  I hope to put my fun loving personality, planning, and organizational abilities to good use. I am eager to learn as well as grow with the company, and I look forward to any and all opportunities that come my way.

This summer Beautiful Beyond Dreams, LLC began the search for some really awesome interns. We received so many applications and a few really stood out!! This week I would like to introduce a young lady who is eager to learn about this industry. Her sweet personality and humbleness makes a great addition to the BBD family! Without further hold up...

Meet Kelsi Rivers-Jones:

      My name is Kelsi Rivers-Jones, I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a very light spirited person and I love being with my friends and family. I like to surround my self with people whenever I can because people make life interesting. I love to laugh, and I do it often and loudly.

      I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with Ms. Allen and Beautiful Beyond Dreams, LLC. I am very happy to have been chosen to take part and to be able to learn from this experience. I know that it will be challenging, but I also feel that it will be fun and fulfilling.

My First Hurricane Wedding!

If you live on the East Coast or watch the news then you know this weekend the East Coast experienced a Category 1 hurricane; "Hurricane Irene" was her name! She was a pretty nasty young lady breaking down trees, causing tornadoes, flooding entire communities and made it life threatening for many. 

However in the midst of all the chaos that this hurricane brought, LOVE also flooded the guests that attended the wedding of Mr & Mrs. Sandy & Terrance Tripplet on Saturday August 27th at the beautiful Brigalias! Having never experienced a hurricane I agreed to assist Isis of POSH Events, LLC the Wedding Planner for this beautiful couple along with Malakeia another Assistant Consultant that also works for POSH Events, LLC. 

We started the detailed set-up earlier in the day. The wedding took place towards the later afternoon/evening hours and it wasn't until around 8:45 that Hurricane Irene decided to pay us a visit. Due to the weather the reception did have to end a little early. None the less, the guests invited by Mr & Mrs Tripplet experienced a beautiful ceremony and gorgeous reception which included heart-felt toast, romantic decor & atmosphere, amazing food and a lot of shared laughs and thank-you's!

Once concluded, we left everything as is blowing out only the candles to assure the safety of the building and all the staff & guests safely drove home. Being that I never experienced a Hurricane Irene, it was quite scary going home. However, as I got in the car I said "alright God it's me and you, get me home safely" and I drove close to the wheel with my blinkers on, my phone off and God on my side! The winds were strong and the rain was coming down hard, but miraculously I made it home in 20 minutes; with only wet clothes to remind me of my travels since I had to park away from my home due to the flooding blocking me from driving through! 

I love doing weddings and when LOVE is real, strong, and pure nothing can stand in the way of it being shared with others, not even mean ol' Hurricane Irene!! :-)

{Real Event}-"51st Birthday Party!"

Over the summer months Beautiful Beyond Dreams, LLC had some amazing events. One of those events was a 51st Birthday Party, which took place on July 9th at a friend's home! Alex was turning 51 and his daughter Tikia wanted to throw him a surprise party! 

The candle lit pool was a nice touch, it brought a real ambiance to the party!

It's A Photo Booth!

 Beautiful Beyond Dreams, LLC put together a photo booth for the guests and they loved it! Everyone put on the masks and other accessories and took many pictures!!

On The Marc Catering provided the food with it's To-Go Service! Everyone loved the salads, seafood and meat provided by Chef Rashaun & his team.

We dressed up the stairs, gazebo, tables & trees with simple yet classy decor elements. 

 

 Bond With A Cake provided this decorative 2 layer cake.

It was a successful night full of laughter, good music, food & cake! Alex was totally surprised!
